Product Description

The2FunAdGuyz offer a new, high-quality reproduction print of an 1895 play about Scots and at a price that will please even the most frugal of Scots. The poster is for a Sidney R. Ellis production of a drama called Bonnie Scotland. The caption reads: Tam's Song, "Come under m’ plaidie." Of course there is double meaning to the caption. While, ostensibly, it refers to the plaid wrap that he is putting around the lasses’ shoulders. He is, however, also wearing a traditional Scottish Highlands kilt. Every Scot in the world will want to own this great piece of theater tradition.

The Strobridge Lithograph Co., Cincinnati, New York did the original lithograph on which this digital reprint is based.
