HOYTS GERMAN COLOGNE RUBIFOAM 1889 CALENDAR AD

Product Description
Here’s a prime example of late 1800’s advertising. It’s a new print of an 1889 Calendar/Card that was produced by Hoyt's German Cologne and Rubifoam for the Teeth, both manufactured by E.W. Hoyt & Co., Lowell, Massachusetts. The calendar is illustrated with what they refer to as “A Ladies Calendar” for 1889. The calendar features a young woman dressed in the manner and custom of the day.
Because homemakers had little to spend on home decorating, these calendar/cards were used extensively. The more decorative calendars/cards were left hanging well beyond the year for which they were created.
PAPER QUALITY: This new print is on a highest quality, acid-free, 100-pound glossy premium text paper that allows for maximum color brilliance and fidelity for older images.
