ARTIST: Haddon Sunblom (1899-1976) was one of the most influential American commercial artists. Sundblom created the famous drawings of the Coca-Cola Santa Claus, helping to create our modern fat, jolly Santa. He also created the image of the Quaker man who appears on the Quaker Oats products to this day. His drawings of young women also influenced a whole generation of pinup artists.
